One building, a few different moods.
Bridge St grew across two adjoining buildings — the old bar and a newer extension — so it isn't one room with one volume. It's a handful of spaces, each with its own character, from a quiet navy snug to a fifty-seat performance room upstairs.
Named for the red of the Mayo flag. A small, jewel-box room — deep navy panelling, a copper-edged bar top, backlit shelves of bottles. The older, calmer end of the house: the usual pints, the music kept low, the kind of corner you settle into rather than pass through.
The green of the flag, and the busier of the two. The back bar carries the world of spirits, the coffee machine sits in the middle of it, and most of the action happens here. A bit more music, a bit more movement — the engine room of an ordinary evening.
The same navy and dark timber runs through the main room, but the tables are deliberately different: a copper-topped perch by the window, a reading nook with a bookshelf and a chess set, a long refectory table under a warm pendant. Three ways to sit, depending on the kind of hour you're having.
Upstairs is the room that makes Bridge St what it is. Fifty seats, a proper stage, and the home of Bridge of Song and Castlebar Comedy Club. The front bay can be partitioned off for smaller gatherings, or opened up so the whole floor seats a single audience. It's built for nights where the room actually listens.

Seomra is the daytime side of Bridge St — a quieter, more focused space for working, away from the rhythm of the bar. Daylight, good coffee from the machine downstairs, and none of the piped-in noise you get elsewhere. It runs on its own terms, not the bar's hours.
